Cengage Marketing Websites

Supporting the brand for enterprise-wide marketing websites and catalogs aimed at instructors in higher education, my designs transitioned over the years as the brand message evolved. Creating the best responsive user experience every time and meeting accessibility standards were key priorities in creative development.

I designed wireframes, prototypes and conducted user testing. Collaborating with internal teams and vendors, design was integrated with multiple back-end systems into a cohesive user experience. Involved in the specifications and design of two Content Management Systems, I became a proficient end user of both platforms as well.

2019

Navigation allows customers to self-segment to easily access relevant information. Marketing messages lower on the page offer quick routes to training resources, supporting research, thought leadership and communities.

2016

Redesigned to a long-page format, the new homepage included product or market specific features and sections with news and event information. Easy access to the catalogs was supported within the header navigation and repeated in a page section while an expanded footer improved visibility of corporate pages.

2012

The homepage redesign kept content above the fold, and focused with a single hero image and message with a primary call to action. Top-level navigation was segmented by catalog and customer type while footer navigation housed secondary links.
